Terms of service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Draft for legal review. These placeholder terms reflect how the plans are described on the site. Have a lawyer review them (Quebec consumer protection and language rules may apply) and complete everything in [brackets] before launch.
The service
We adapt your videos into another language (English to French, or French to English) in your own voice, with your lip movements matched to the new audio, and deliver the files described in your plan.
Plans and billing
- Plans renew every month until you cancel. Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes, and are charged through Stripe at the start of each billing period.
- Each plan includes a set number of videos per month. A video is up to 10 minutes long; longer videos count as two. Unused videos carry over for one month, then expire.
- You can change plans or cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep your plan until the end of the period you’ve paid for. [Confirm the refund policy.]
Turnaround and revisions
Delivery times are targets in business days, counted from the day we have everything we need. Each video includes one round of revisions for things like names, terms, pronunciation and timing.
Your content and consent
You confirm that you own the videos you send us, or have permission to use them, and that everyone who appears or speaks in them agrees to have their voice and image adapted into another language. We use your files only to produce your versions. We may decline content that is illegal, hateful, or meant to mislead people about who is speaking.
Who owns what
You own your videos and the versions we deliver. We’ll only show them as examples of our work with your written permission.
Liability
We work carefully, but a translation can occasionally miss a nuance, so review your versions before you publish them. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the [three] months before the claim. [Have a lawyer adapt this clause.]
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Quebec] and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
